What do you do when you are in a desperate situation and God seems silent? This Sunday, we studied the dark and sober text of 1 Samuel 28. In the passage Saul is terrified and God is silent. In response, he turns to a woman who communicates with the dead for help. On Sunday morning, we learned how we can remain in loving dependence on Jesus even when we are desperate and God seems silent.
