Deaf Ministry

At East Side Baptist Church, we believe the gospel is for everyone. That’s why we offer live American Sign Language (ASL) translation during our Sunday morning worship service at 10:00 am.

During the service, a certified ASL interpreter is displayed on a large monitor on the side of our auditorium. This makes it easy for those who are deaf or hard of hearing to follow along with Scripture readings, worship, prayer, and preaching in real time.

Our heart is to make sure the deaf community can hear and experience the good news of Jesus clearly. Whether you are exploring your faith for the first time or seeking to deepen your walk with Christ, we want you to know that you belong here.

East Side’s mission is simple: to glorify God by being and making disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe life is brighter when people know, love, and live for Him. Providing ASL interpretation is one way we live out that calling — removing barriers so that everyone has the opportunity to encounter the gospel and be built up in their faith.

If you or someone you know is deaf or hard of hearing, we warmly invite you to join us this Sunday at 10:00 am. Come as you are, and experience the hope and joy found in Christ.
