Persuasion is a powerful tool that can be used for good or for evil. What we persuade others to believe matters, as well how we go about it. People in Paul’s day known as “super apostles” were highly skilled persuaders, but they were persuading the Corinthian church to abandon Paul and his Grace based teachings through dishonorable tactics and for selfish motives. Come discover on Sunday, as we study 2 Corinthians 5:11-15, how Paul sought to faithfully persuade the Corinthians to live for Jesus, what tactics of persuasion he employed, and his motivation for persuading them to live for Jesus. Like Paul, we should employ these same tactics and have the same motivation for persuading others to live for Jesus, our greatest treasure.
