When the swordsman, Indigo, was losing his duel with the dread pirate Roberts in the movie, The Princess Bride, he was asked why he was smiling. His answer: "Because I know something you don't know!" As we try to seriously engage in God's work on earth, it's easy to lose heart when our efforts are opposed and the glorious treasure we seek to share (Christ) is rejected. But smiling (& persistence) is always possible because God's servants know something this world doesn't know. On Sunday morning we will study 2 Corinthians 5:1-10 to discover how God equips us to Smile Through the Trial.
