How do you respond to trouble with a heart for God? What do you do when crisis comes, loss is overwhelming, and others think it's your fault? This Sunday, we studied 1 Samuel 30 and saw how David responds when everything seems lost. We saw David prove himself to be the kind of king Israel needs, and saw how he points us to Jesus, the greater King, who defeats our enemies, secures our freedom, and shares the blessings of His victory.
