Sunday at ESBC . . .
- Sunday at 9. We have two Essential classes meeting on Sunday mornings. Pastor Whicker is leading a class called Equipped to Build, and they meet in the upstairs classroom. Pastor Nate is leading a class called Early Church History and his class meets in the chapel. We will stream the chapel class on our church family Facebook page.
- Finish Well! God wants our very best and is working toward that end. As He works in us, He expects us to live up to all that He has done for us so that we can finish well. On Sunday morning, we will wrap up our study of 1 Thessalonians by exploring chapters 5 verses 23-38. (sermon notes) We are streaming our services LIVE via YouTube. You can access our channel here. We will also post the link a few minutes before the service begins to our public Facebook page – East Side Baptist Church. (video quality & sound will be better if watched/opened in the YouTube app)
- Feel free to check out the bible studies at the church on Sunday evenings at 6pm. Youth and kids ministries are available too.
Ladies Study – Changed Into His Image – Books are $20, and there will be about 30 minutes of reading each week. Contact Trisha Whicker or Audra Abney for more information.
Men’s Study – Dig and Discover – Join us for a hands-on men’s Bible study on Sunday nights at 6pm. This will equip you to skillfully study the Bible and confidently help others understand what it says. We will start with a passage from Titus on a sheet of paper, identify key words and phrases, examine its context, follow the flow of the passage, summarize what it says, and discuss how it applies.
