  • Are we near the end? Is Jesus coming back soon? A worldwide pandemic, dust cloud from the Sahara Desert crossing the Atlantic, locust plagues in the Middle East and Africa, political turmoil, and racial tensions make these fair questions. On Sunday morning at 9, we will not answer these questions, but we will look specifically at how God has called us to live as the end draws nearer. We will meet in person in the Chapel, and on Zoom.  Here is the Zoom Meeting Link.

  • A Strategy for Change. We’ve been talking about the mission and vision of the church. Discipleship is a focus of this. So how do we make disciples? What is the biblical strategy for helping more and more people become more and more like Jesus? This will be our focus on Sunday morning at 10 as we survey the book of 2 Timothy. Join us in person or watch it LIVE on our public Facebook page – East Side Baptist Church.  Click the links to view the sermon notes and bulletin

  • Fragile Strength. We live in a time of increasing cultural tension and almost constant pressure to divide, subdivide, and fracture into special interest groups. But against this backdrop, God’s church ought to stand out boldly and brightly because we enjoy peace and unity. What does it take to experience that in a church family? Join Pastor Nate for Sunday School at 9am as we dig into Philippians to answer that question.  We will meet in person in the Chapel, AND on Zoom.  Here is the Zoom Meeting Link.

  • Look To Your Father. Do you find it difficult not to worry about the future? When you look at the situation of the world, our country, or maybe even your family, is it hard to live a peaceful life? Worry blinds you to the truth that you have a Heavenly Father, but His Word opens your eyes to see that He is in control. Come this Sunday to hear how Matthew 6:25–34 shows you that looking to your Father leads to a worry-free life. Join us in person or watch it LIVE on our public Facebook page – East Side Baptist Church.  You can view Jude’s sermon notes here
